Matt Walker is a professional illustrator based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
He specialises in comics, character design, and background art. Matt also teaches art workshops which are specially tailored for age and ability. Most recently he has started a masters degree in comic art and graphic novels at Leeds Arts University.
When not drawing you can typically find him watching American football, rock climbing, travelling, or reading a good book (and occasionally a bad one too).
Matt’s process starts with small thumbnails which are then mocked up digitally in photoshop. These digital mock-ups are then worked in with traditional painting and textures.
