This comic makes me laugh. I’ve always had a soft spot for the N64 Zelda games, and while I haven’t played any since Majora’s Mask I’ve always appreciated from afar how much praise the modern games tend to receive. If you’ve ever played any of the games then you’ll be aware of Link’s penchant for smashing the clay pots. These pots are everywhere, and once smashed, they gift you with rupees. They then respawn after a time; thus creating a constant supply of rupees that can be infinitely farmed. The idea of this pointy-eared child rampaging through villages and towns armed with a sword, ruthlessly laying waste to clay pots always struck me as such funny and odd behaviour. The act of Link smashing pots has been parodied and made fun of for years by the gaming community. And rightly so, it’s absurd. Anyway, this comic is my own take on that absurdity. Enjoy.
